Dental Crowns Cost
Affordable Care and Financing Options
At Parkway Dental in Albuquerque, NM, we don't want financial issues to prevent you from seeking the dental care you need. We understand that dental costs can be frustrating and overwhelming. Our annual membership plan, Plan for Health, helps make dental care more accessible to all and is an excellent option for patients without dental insurance.
We are proud to also offer financing options like Compassionate™ Finance at our Albuquerque, NM, dental office to help manage out-of-pocket costs associated with your dental treatment.
Treatment Cost Factors
Additional Procedures
Additional procedures are often needed before a dental crown is placed to address the cause of decay or damage. Common procedures before placing a dental crown include root canals or periodontal treatments. While these treatments are often covered by dental insurance, they may increase the overall out-of-pocket cost of your treatment. However, it is important to remember that these procedures can help you preserve the tooth structure, reducing or eliminating the need for an extraction or implant.
Sedation
Sedation is a fantastic comfort option for patients with dental anxiety. It can also benefit patients who experience restlessness during treatment. It is important to remember that sedation options can increase the cost of your treatment, but sedation is also a great option to ensure your comfort while you address oral health issues.
Same-Day Crowns
For patients who qualify, our dental office is proud to offer same-day crowns using advanced CEREC® technology. Traditional crowns require at least two visits to our Albuquerque office and a temporary crown, which can increase the cost of your treatment. Same-day crowns are crafted in office, and you will leave your appointment with your permanent crown instead of waiting for a lab to fabricate a traditional porcelain crown or porcelain-fused-to-metal crown.
Dental Implants
Though your dentist will do everything he can to save your tooth, sometimes it is too damaged to be saved. A crown supported by an implant can not only replace a missing tooth, but it can prevent or stop jawbone atrophy that occurs when the bone no longer has the stimulation the tooth root once provided. While this does increase your initial cost, it is an investment in your future oral health.
Invest in Convenient, Advanced-Level Dental Care
When you visit our dentistry practice for your dental crown, we want you to have a comfortable and positive experience. We strive to provide excellent, individual care in a compassionate environment so that our patients are empowered to thrive. Our dentist, Dr. Michael Haight, will take the time to examine your mouth to determine if a dental crown is the right treatment for you, explain your procedure and treatment options, and ensure your comfort during treatment. Dr. Haight also offers a range of dental treatments such as dental bridges, inlays and onlays, and much more to address tooth decay and damage. There's no need to visit multiple dentists when you choose Parkway Dental.
Our office uses advanced state-of-the-art technology such as digital impressions and X-rays, which eliminate the need for messy putty impressions. Our CEREC technology also means you can leave your appointment with your permanent dental crown instead of waiting for it to be crafted in a lab.
