How to Handle an Emergency

Cracked or chipped teeth
Cover the area with orthodontic wax or sugarless gum if your tooth is severely chipped and has sharp edges that irritate your tongue, lips, or cheeks. For a cracked tooth, you should rinse your mouth out gently with warm salt water to soothe the area and keep it clean.
Toothache or Infection
When you experience a toothache or infection, it is often accompanied by swelling. Over-the-counter anti-inflammatory medication can soothe swelling caused by an infection. Applying a cold compress to your external jaw can ease painful symptoms and swelling until you can be seen by a dentist.

Hands down, THE BEST DENTIST I've ever used (I'm old -I've seen my fair share). - and I've had a ton of work done by him. I've been seeing Dr Haight for about 4 years now and he's done cleanings, fillings, implants, and crowns for me. Each visit was pleasant and the staff is amazing. You wont be sorry booking an appt. Dr. Haight is an amazing dentist!! I had some dental work done by another dentist last November that resulted in several months of severe pain. This was when I made my first appointment with Dr. Haight. He and his qualified staff have spent 6 months repairing the damage and I am pain free!
